Summers with you are summers well spent. Even though you’re little, the three of us are like the Musketeers. We’re homies. I find myself longing to be with you two (and that gorgeous mom of yours) more and more. When I’m out and about, running errands or working, my mind wanders to you guys. I love ya. Simply put. I can’t believe I get to lead you. I get to love you. I get to teach you. I get to parent you. Your mom and I are always over the moon about you two.

This month, we introduced you to Play-Doh! You kind of get it. At least you aren’t eating. I know one day you’ll go from just smashing it…to making snakes…to making full-fledged army men (oh wait, that was me). We also took you to Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, Ca. It was a hoot! You love it way better than the zoo, and since it’s about $45 cheaper, I love it more than the zoo too! Both of you soaked up the whole occasion. You pet rabbits and goats, fed the chickens and donkeys, and even saw little piggy’s that were just over 24 hours old! After that, we picked our own fruits and veggies! Well, Gracen and I did. Gwen…you weren’t into it because of the bugs, and mommy didn’t help much because she was taking pictures (which actually means she helped a lot because those pictures were money)! Gwen, you did enjoy one part of it. You ate all the strawberries.

We also saw some rain, which was a huge blessing, because we’re currently in a drought. After figuring out what it was, you were both totally down to get muddy and explore! Each morning for a whole week, you both woke up wanting to go explore outside in your jammies. It meant we more laundry on our hands, but hey…seeing you discover new things was worth it!

Your mom saw this picture on the internet of a case of cement stairs with a heart on it. She found it a few months ago, but she’d been asking me about locating it in the middle of L.A and I finally relented. To my surprise, it was a fun day! Parking wasn’t as bad as I had envisioned. The people were super nice, even in downtown, and the smells were…just as bad as I had envisioned.

Oh yea…Gwen pooped all over the bedroom floor. I was at work, so no harm no foul. You owe Mom $100 though.

  • Update on your mother: She’s looking more and more beautiful each day!
