Happy 1/2 birthday girls! You’re now two point five and are like little tornados of wonderful energy. We took a trip up to the mountains with some friends and enjoyed all of the exploring. First we went on what seemed like a 7,000 mile hike. We then found a quaint little lake and threw rocks. The next day we searched for parks, and found two. One filled with cutesy lady bugs and boulders to climb. The other next to a skate park filled with smoke and Eminem. We went back to the lady bug park. Then we took a gondola ride into the clouds and strolled the tallest mountain in all the land of Mammoth. It was so cold, but you two couldn’t get over all the mountain bikers whizzing by. I calculated it, and about 65% of the bikers waved back. Not bad. I think this Mammoth trip was a favorite for us; we’re definitely going back.
In early October we visited a ginormous pumpkin patch. Even though it was in the mid-90’s we made the best of it and shared a good day of laughter and joy and maybe a bruised knee or two. We took a wagon ride across the farm, snuck in some carrots to feed the rabbits (because their carrots are retail prices) and also played on this awesome wooden train!
Mommy and I are constantly laughing over what you two are doing this month. You say the darndest things, want to wear the darndest things, do the darndest things. Overall, you two are darn too cute. I’m in love.
