Every Single Month

1986: Born a sinner.
2000: Saved by grace.
2004: High school graduate.
2005: A boyfriend.
2006: College graduate.
2007: A youth pastor.
2008: A husband.
2009: Hoping to be a father.
2010: Still hoping to be a father.
2011: Praying to become a father.
2012: Aching to become a father.
2013: Became a father.
2014: Thankful to be a father.
2015: Perplexed that I get to be a father.

I can’t describe the overwhelming grace that God pours onto His kids. I, little ol’ Jeremy, get to be the dad of Gracen Lane and Gwen Johanna. It blows my mind. I can’t believe I get to do this thing called life with you two! You two teach me more than you know. Through tears, chuckles, and yes, even boo-boos, I learn more about myself, our God, and our purpose EVERY.SINGLE.MONTH that I have with you two. Thankful that God uses even little children to teach us. Praying that I remain teachable as I strive to show the love of a grateful father to you two. I remain perplexed, which points me to nothing but gratitude. Thank you Lord for this gift of two daughters.
