Happy eleven girls! 11 months seems to be the typical month that everyone overlooks in anticipation of the big one year, but we here at the Hartley’s have welcomed month 11 with open arms. As always, the purpose of this 216 month blog is to help this father remember all that he’s been blessed to experience with you. Here’s a look at what month 11 brought your dad and mom:
You girls love to stand a crawl! You push your self up, try to climb over everything, and are getting stronger by the minute!
You also have really started to notice each other! Right now your cribs are side by side, and when we put you down for a nap, you both stand up, find each other, and make one another giggle. It’s hard for us not to smile, even when we know you really need that nap!
You also have a routine in the mornings, Gwen…you wake up a few minutes earlier than your sister, and let us know loud and clear you’re awake. Gracen, you wake up just after her, and you sit and play, and contently wait for one of us to come get ya.
You also have gotten messier this month! With more finger foods being introduced, you two love to grab little foods and 60% end up on the floor to the delight of our puppies Toby and Sophie.
Gracen, you love to put your feet up on the table while you eat (you’re so flexible!)
Gwen, you love to make mmmmhhhhhmmmmm noises during food time. We love your humms and coos!
Favorite foods include: peas, waffles, bananas, and chicken. Avocados…not so much (like daddy!)
You went to your first’s friends birthday! Chase Gardner turned four, and you dressed up as little aliens from Toy Story.
GWEN’S UNIQUENESS – Always on the move, love to clap and wave hello, love snack time, Ellie the Elehpant Binkie, and your sippy cup
GRACEN’S UNIQUENESS – Easy going, content, easily smiles, so ticklish on your thighs, you love to stare at yourself in the mirror, and love reading!
